In-Person Contagious School Cases Dashboard

Important Information About This Page

Data in this dashboard represents cases reported during the 2021-2022 school year. In-person contagious is defined as persons who were present at school as far back as 48 hours prior to the onset of symptoms (or test date if no symptoms). The source of infection of these cases cannot be attributed to schools, nor is it known that they are the source of infection to others in schools.

On this dashboard, public schools include all 19 districts and all Charter schools. Delaware has 23 charter schools, which are a part of the public school system.

Enrollment data is preliminary and will be finalized in late October or early November. Unlike last year, enrollment data is relatively stable over time and will not be adjusted from week to week, nor adjusted for absences.

Private school data will be added when private school enrollment information is available later this fall.
