On 5/30/2022, the data source for this chart switched from the Delaware Health Information Network to information collected directly from Delaware hospitals.
COVID-19 admissions consist of confirmed and suspected cases at the time of admission. Suspected cases are determined by COVID-like symptoms. Suspected cases later determined by testing to be negative are subtracted from that week's count. Thus, previously reported numbers are subject to change. Continuing methodological improvements may also result in future adjustments to the data.
